Ax Heal Equity,<\/strong> the holding company led by Josep Graells March, president of Vallformosa, and David Garcia Gelabert, founding partner of Free Falling,<\/strong> specializing in active participation in companies, and Global Hispavinus<\/strong>, the company that owns Vinissimus<\/strong>, have reached an agreement to enter the capital of the Vinissimus group by Ax Heal Equity.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vinissimus founded in 2005, was one of the pioneering portals in Europe in the sale of wine online. Its founder and current CEO, Toni Vicens<\/strong>, began working on an idea that brought together his two passions, the digital economy and wine<\/strong>. It was under this same premise that he decided to launch the project and with only 100 references in the catalog<\/strong> it was launched on the market. Today, after more than 5 million bottles sold, more than half a million orders processed and almost 300,000 customers throughout Europe, Vinissimus is positioned as one of the leaders in the online sale of wine, sparkling and spirits in Europe.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column css_animation=”none”][vc_column_text]David Garcia Gelabert,<\/strong> from Ax Heal Equity<\/strong>, shared details of the agreement process, \u201cI was able to meet Toni Vicens approximately two years ago and since then we have been able to build a relationship of trust and knowledge of Vinissimus. Already in February of this year we began to see the possibility of reaching an agreement clearly identifying everything we could contribute to the business. Today we are very happy to be able to celebrate this challenging and exciting start at the same time\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n

In the words of Toni Vicens, CEO of Vinissimus<\/strong> \u201cit has been a challenge for me and our entire team to understand that we were facing a time of need to improve our corporate structure, governance and leadership. In the past we had had opportunities to even give up total control of the company by selling it to large groups, but what I was looking for was to be able to have a travel companion who would help me continue growing Vinissimus.
